BURT'S BAYOU BLENDS

Burt's Cajun Seasoning
: Can be used in your cooking to spice up your dish, and is Great when used in place of salt and pepper on top of your favorite foods. I use this on all types of foods eggs, popcorn, veggies, sauces, and all types of dishes. I also use alot in my special suaces, it is great for everything.

Burt's Butt Powder: This is a great rub for putting on pork and then letting the meat marinate for 24 hours before you cook it. I will slow smoke the butts and then let them cool a little and then break up for Cochon de Lait or shreed for pulled pork. I add a little seasoning to the juices and it adds a little more flavor.

Chicken Seasoning: This has a lemon pepper taste and is great for rubbing on the chicken before you smoke or Bar-B-Que it. I like to put this on the chicken and smoke it and then I cut the chicken up and put it on the pit and cover the chicken with our special Homemade BBQ Sauce for the best BBQ Chicken.

Burt's House Seasoning: This is a blend of the seasonings that I use when I am preparing your meals, an all in one seasoning. This is a little different than the Cajun Seasoning and I use mostly when preparing foods.

Brisket Rub: I use this when I am smoking briskets, I rub it on the night before and then put the brisket on my smoker for 12 hours. When done take off and slice and put back in its own gravey and serve with my special Homemade BBQ Sauce on the side.

Rib Seasoning (Pork):
I cover the ribs with the seasoning and then rub it in. I put the ribs on the smoker for about 4 hours and the take off and cut up. I put them in a warmer and serve with our special BBQ Sauce on the side.

Taco Seasoning: This is my version of Mexican Seasoning, I use it in the meats and also to make some sauces and dips.

Fajita Seasoning: We do alot of Cajun Mexican Parties so I wanted something really good that brings out the best flavor, this is great with beef or chicken or anything else you might want to use.

Italian Seasoning: I make this because I think it has a little more flavor than store bought. I use for cooking and sometimes as a sprinkle on salads and sauces.

Beef Rub: A great rub for roast and large cuts of beef, apply before cooking and let marinate on beef for 6-8 hours before cooking. Use the drippings and some of the rub for a great gravey.
